Renato Vasconcellos is a pianist, composer, arranger, and educator from Brasília, Brazil. Known for his refined touch and harmonic sophistication, he is one of the key figures linking Brazilian music and modern jazz.

A graduate of the University of Brasília, Renato has been active both as a performer and as a respected teacher at the city’s School of Music. He has collaborated with many of Brazil’s finest artists – including Rosa Passos, Hamilton de Holanda, and Renato Borges – and has performed across Brazil and abroad.

His compositions draw on samba, baião, and bossa nova while embracing the freedom of jazz improvisation. Over his career, he has released several albums that reveal a subtle balance between lyricism, rhythm, and harmonic exploration.
